To help create stronger neighborhoods in Bridgeport, we're embarking on a multi-phase redevelopment project that will transform Marina Village and the South End into vibrant new mixed-use and mixed-income developments.
We're dedicated to creating and sustaining strong environments for our residents by improving our day to day operations, reducing vacancies, increasing safety and shortening the time for basic repairs.
Prioritizing resident opportunities, we've adopted a new process to ensure that our contractors are hiring residents. We're also building new strategic partnerships with service providers, community- based organizations and technology companies.
We're maintaining stable housing by connecting affordable housing with sensitive and meaningful support. Our cutting edge collaboration - Bridgeport Housing First - has already helped reduce chronic homelessness in Bridgeport by 41% since 2011.
